Brenda Michelle Simpson, MD, FAAD
Dr. Brenda Simpson, born and raised in El Paso, Texas, embarked on a remarkable journey in dermatology. Inspired by her father's passion for dermatology, she started her career as a medical assistant at her family's practice, El Paso Dermatology, during high school.
She pursued her education at the University of Texas at Austin and furthered her expertise at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, where she coordinated clinical trials in dermatology. Returning to OHSU for dermatology residency, Dr. Simpson honed her skills and later obtained a fellowship in pediatric dermatology at UC San Diego (UCSD). In 2017, she proudly returned to El Paso to join her family's practice.
With dual board certification in adult and pediatric dermatology, Dr. Simpson is not just a practitioner but a passionate advocate for her patients. She founded the El Paso Neurofibromatosis Multidisciplinary Clinic and contributes to the Vascular Anomalies Multidisciplinary Team at El Paso Children's Hospital. Her journey, from El Paso to prestigious institutions, exemplifies her unwavering dedication to dermatology.
